I like what you are doing Elf! What program are you using to create it? Keep up the great work.
Hi Thoth, I can call you Thoth right? Thanks! I am having a lot of fun with my DA page. I appreciate the support!
I use a variety of mediums. It just depends on what I am doing and how an idea develops. All the mecha to this point are original sketches either directly into Photoshop CS4 or scanned from Pencil works into CS4 to be "inked" digitally and colored. Some of the characters, not all, are sketched from photographs to capture poses and proportions, but finish by hand in CS4. I talk about how each piece is done in the DA submission if you want to know about specific pieces.
I use a Wacom tablet Large to work digitally, and a Staedtler 2b lead pointer to work in pencil. I have a good set of Copic markers which I have used, but find working digital color allows WAY more flexibility and allows for many "oops" that traditional marker would not.
Here is a link to Wacom's Tablet large product description. It takes some time to get used to it, and it'll never be as accurate as pencil but I love it...

Hi all, been a while since I posted, but there have been several updates on my DA page. Marie Crystal likeness, and a Meltrandi Pilot concept, and my latest achievement: The Muses.
