Tekkoshocon is a gathering for fans of anime, tokusatsu, Japanese music, video games, card/board games, and other Japanese popular media, as well as pop culture. It is held in the United States at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

WHAT IS TEKKOSHOCON?

Tekkoshocon is the largest anime convention in the Pittsburgh Metro Area. Tekkoshocon offers video rooms, anime music video contest, masquerade / cosplay contest, hall cosplay, panels on a various of related topics, workshops, Dealers' Room, Art Show, Artists' Alley, dance, model contest, concerts, anime game shows, and video gaming . The convention's name is a blend of the Japanese word tekkosho, meaning steel mill, and convention.

HOW CAN I REGISTER?

The cost to pre-register for the convention is as follows.

$45 for General Admission badges until February 28, 2013

$75 for Premium badges until February 29, 2013

$150 for a "Rock Star" badge until February 29, 2013

We submitted our Robotech panel for Tekko this year. Still waiting to see if it was accepted.

We did Setsucon in Jan, helding for Zenkaikon in March. Planning for Otakon in Aug.

Our Macross/Robotech panel is accepted for Tekkoshocon X-2. The schedule has not been announced yet but our panel will likely be sometime on Sunday.
