Maybe they could fill the rest of that container up with other Robo-Tech stuff... *crickets chirp*
Plus, the Officer's Battlepod will be next when the supply chain is resolved or something like that, so when the recession is over?
Am I understanding this correctly, the new animation project was greenlit BECAUSE Carl Macek died, seriously?
IIRC Tommy previously said Carl was writing the new project and IINM Kevin said the project started with Carl Macek in early 2010. His idea wasn't worthy of being greenlit, nor apparently the writing Carl had already done, but his death made it worth animating?
Kevin: you're getting more new animation
So they are apparently replacing the LLA portions
Completion of production is being pushed back to late 2011 or early 2012 -- no surprise there. Guess that makes it rt2012 now.
I think I answered my questions from earlier, just hope they made sense as I should be sleeping instead of typing right now

NOT HOW IT WORKS. THE SHIPS NEEDS TO HAVE CONTAINERS FULL TO BE CARRIED ACROSS THE OCEAN. CONTAINERS JUST DON'T HAVE ROBOTECH PRODUCTS IN THEM. THEY HAVE OTHER ITEMS.Toynami can't afford to ship new Robo-Tech toys unless the shipping container is full? What does that potentially say about the demand for Robo-Tech toys and how much Toynami is willing to invest in them?

RT STUFF ARE IN THE CONTAINERS BUT WAITING ON OTHER PRODUCTS TO MAKE THE VOYAGE AS WELL.
WHO KNOWS HOW FAR CARL GOT WITH THE PROJECT. HE HAD MANY IDEAS AND PRIOR WORKS THAT NEVER GOT OF THE TABLE.Am I understanding this correctly, the new animation project was greenlit BECAUSE Carl Macek died, seriously?

DON'T KNOW WHO STARTED THE LLA PART. WAS NOT HG.Kevin: you're getting more new animation

IF THEY MAKING MORE ANIMATION FOR A BETTER PRODUCT, THEN FINE BY ME.
2 MORE VIDEOS TO GOI think I answered my questions from earlier, just hope they made sense as I should be sleeping instead of typing right now

I have a comment and a question.FIRST ROBOTECH VIDEO IS NOW UP FOR VIEWING.
Comment:
"There's just one problem..."
"They're in China!"
LOL.
Question:
Why does Kevin sound like he's addressing a five-year-old's birthday party?

Memo-Bots?Question:

Why does Kevin sound like a Flim-Flam Man, and an annoying one at that?

Well, that's obvious...he IS an annoying flim-flam man...has been since he was a troll on Macross World.
But still...to sound like he's speaking to an audience of Barney-watchers...that surprised me.

Concerning those battlepods sitting in that cargo container in China waiting for it to fill up, what's next waiting on a ship to fill up with cargo containers? Toynami and/or HG could find an alternate way of getting them to NAmer without affecting the price too much if they really wanted to. Although if they did that Kevin would lose most of his jokes and one liners for the upcoming cons.
Hey, I have a solution... they could sell them online as imports then mail them over here one at a time Well that is how most Robotech and OSM fans get their toys and models isn't it?
Tommy's response concerning making a Macross series into an alternate Robo-Tech universe appears to have way too much thought behind it. I seriously doubt it will ever happen, especially considering he also says something along the lines of HG is taking baby steps with bringing Macross into the US. Like Kevin in the rt.com forums, he suggest the details of the law suits haven't been worked out and are still ongoing in Japan.
