We kind of had a booth, being the feature event of the Manga Ent. Booth, when Tom came over. It runs twice a year, in May and October so its beneficial if you are having a tour, and trying to organise which cons to go to.

It has the usual anime stuff, like a cosplay show, some screenings, but it also has all the Star Trek/Star Wars, and whatever major movies are about to be released.

Yeah, its going to be a big fee, but if you organise it smartly, it can be cheaper then you think. Be glad that Beer is so very very cheap. Can get a 4-pack for less then £1($1.40)!!!!!

You could probably get a cheaper flight to London via alternative airports, like London Stanstead, Gatwick, Luton, London Docklands, and also 'London Southend' which is no where near London, but it costs the same train fare to get to Docklands as traveling from Heathrow. London Docklands is just a 5min train ride, but finding a West Coast airport that flies there maybe difficult.

Hotel rules are the same. The Hotels at Docklands will cost about 3 or 4 times as much as hotels that are just a 2min walk away. Ibis hotel is about $140-200USD a night while the local Travelodge hotel is about $25-30 a Night, even cheaper then my favorite Super8 motels!

Excell centre has its own train station, that connects to two major hub stations servicing Central and East London. Depending on how far you want to travel, you could probably find cheaper hotels.

Food is expensive regardless. Even for me. Docklands has one of Europe's Top Chinese resturants, and has been visited and adorned/approved by the Chinese government, lol. Be prepared to take out a mortgage just to look at the menu.

Also, no Taco Bell in the UK so there's a bonus!

You could also attempt to offset costs by picking up some random anime/manga items, and having things for sale.
